FireKote, our Fire Protection Solutions

FireKote was developed after a few years of being in the protective coatings game that mostly dabbled in the fire retardancy field. It was only in the mid to later months of 2023 that we decided to look at fire protection more seriously and to offer products that were easy to apply and incredibly effective.

Protect Yourself In Your Home

The very first place to look at protecting yourself and your loved ones is in the home you reside. There are many items that could cause a fire and it is important to ensure that you have the right fire retardant for your home.

Protect Yourself During Fun Times

No matter whether you are braaing whilst watching the rugby game or celebrating important religious or festive days it is vital to ensure that everyone remains safe so that the festivities are not interrupted by something that could have been avoided in the first place.

Protect Yourself Whilst Traveling

Maybe you have a vehicle that could benefit from that extra bit of protection by applying a textile spread of flame product that will stop your seats from becoming additional fuel to your vehicle or aircraft?
The safety of you and those traveling with you require you to think about such a possibility.

FireKote: Textile

Our textile fire retardancy product looks almost exactly like water but don't be fooled, this product is incredibly effective and can be used on any absorbent fabric.

FireKote: Wood

Our fire protection product for wood is clear and will remain clear even after drying. This liquid seeps into the wooden fibers to penetrate and protect the timber from the flames.

Stomp Out The Fire

Before a fire has even had a chance to be a spark in the air you can look around yourself to see where the problem areas could be when faced with the potential for fire.

Are you looking at the carpet on the floor near a lovely fireplace? What about the wooden chopping board next to the gas stove? Have you considered that the curtains near your heater that's older than your kids could be a potential hazard for you whilst you sleep? There is also that scented candle your partner lit a few hours ago near some dried flowers or even a stack of papers, what would happen if they caught on fire accidentally?

It may seem rather scary or even daunting to have to consider that no matter where you turn you are possibly faced with a potential fire hazard, but it is always better to be prepared for trouble and live with peace of mind knowing you are ready for whatever could be thrown your way.
