FireKote first started out as a brand owned and associated with Kote Products (PTY) Ltd, that was until we realised just how important fire retardancy is in South Africa and decided to turn this brand into a full fledged company focusing solely on Fire Retardation.
It doesn't matter what or who you are trying to protect, whether that be your family, your business, your home or even the vacation home, it is important to realise just how vital it is to be proactive in protecting these things and people from the potential of a fire.

We have worked hard to source not just the best but the latest technology to ensure that you are always protected by the very best of the best products.
Each day we strive to learn more and more about the fire retardancy industry, and that includes the science, or maybe more accurately, the formulas behind the products we have in our product range.
The industry is an ever growing and ever changing landscape that requires us all to be at the top of our game if we want to provide safe products both to apply and in case of an actual scenario where fire is present that the products themselves do not cause more harm than the fire itself.
The one thing we always keep in mind is that for every job or application there needs to be a conversation. Because whilst we could simply sell you the product and we both 'hope for the best' that would not sit right in our souls knowing we could have provided a better option.

FireKote (PTY) Ltd is constantly striving to provide as many different sorts of fire retardant products available to our customer base. We know just how important having various products specifically designed for various substrates is.
With this in mind, we have first started with our textile fabric fire retardancy product, known as FireKote: Textile, which is eco-friendly just like our wood fire retardant product, known as FireKote: Wood.
We will soon have access to an intumescent paint that has just hit the market and we will be one of the first to import it to our shores of South Africa.
